Demro to Conduct Forum on Tax Increase
Lakewood City Councilman Ryan Patrick Demro, will conduct a forum on the proposed municipal income tax increase on Thursday, February 2, 2006, beginning at 7:00pm in the Civic Auditorium Reception Room at Lakewood High School, 14100 Franklin Boulevard.
Councilman Demro describes a tax as, “A public policy tool worthy of serious debate and discussion.†Demro insists that an expanded dialogue should occur before a final vote is taken by City Council on the issue. New information will be shared at this meeting. All residents and interested parties are welcome to attend.
