Ed Favre - On special Assingment -

Beginning January 25, Sgt. Edward Favre is on special assignment to the Mayor's office to assist the Mayor in implementing important city projects. Ed's main duties will be to implement the Grow Lakewood plan and the CitiStat program.
Faced with important initiatives such as the Grow Lakewood report, CitiStat and our city re-investment campaign, Ed with his extensive community background, will assume leadership in the implementation of these important projects.
Ed will NOT serve in a Safety Director or Assistant Safety Director capacity.
This special assignment is possible with the expressed approval of Police Chief Tim Malley. Funds previously appropriated by City Council to fund the Mayor's executive assistant position have been re-allocated to the police budget to add another police office to replace Sgt. Favre. Ed will, however, continue to perform certain Police Dept. duties as assigned by Chief Malley, to whom he continues to report.
