I've been attending almost every girls basketball game, home and away, and I've been at two hockey games and a few boys basketball games. Here's some snapshots from the first half of the season-

Sorry there's no swimming pictures, I've been too busy with other projects and work to attend any of the events so far!!

Support our Ranger Athletes by stopping by a game and watching them take on challenging LEL teams!

Ivor,

Thanks, keep up the great work.

I love the "Miracle on Bunts" photoshop work.

But c'mon now, quoting O'B?

To quote our beloved leader....."Ivor, you're doin' a heckuva job!"

I attended the boys basketball game last Friday, and when I told people I was from the Observer, they couldn't stop raving about the outstanding job Ivor did with the photo from the Ed's game. In fact, they are placing a large copy of it in the Athletic Department's "L-Room".

There is still another month of action left for both boys and girls basketball, and I definitely encourage everyone to stop by for a game. It's great inexpensive family fun.

Look for updates in upcoming copies of the Observer.

Plus, we're always looking for new sportswriters....so if there is a team that you think isn't getting enough attention, feel free to send us a story about them!

Oh don't worry, there already is a large print in the L-Room! :P

they've requested 10 more copies of that picture because Mayor George wants a copy and Dr.Estrop ( :P ) the superintendent wants one for the Board.

mike if you happen to be at a basketball game find me and say hi because I'd love to chat! its not hard to find me, i stick out like a sore thumb :D look for the guy with a camera and observer shirt!

the girls play at mentor on Saturday and look for that to be a great game, they're a game behind mentor for first place in the Lake Erie League and in the beginning of the season only lost to mentor by 4 points.

I'll be there snappin' away like usual- hope to see other Lakewood fans make the trip out to mentor! it'll be worth it!
