Am I the only one inundated with e-mail from Coleman and Stickland. I get multiple e-mails from them daily about the upcoming election. Yesterday I got a full color brochure from Coleman.
The election isn't until 2006 for crying out loud! I'm working on trying to figure out this November's election.
Anyone else weary already of the Governor's race?

Lynn,
Mysteriously, I haven't received a single piece of mail from either one of the candidates you mention

I don't believe I've seen anything either...
I'm on lists from every point on the political spectrum.
You must be much more popular than I, Lynn!

Lynn,
I think two factors are making this happen. The democrats don't have a clear cut leader, making the race more competitive. I assume the same thing is happening on the other side of the ticket with Blackwell and Petro.
Also, who exactly is sending you the material? Is it directly from the campaigns or is it from a PAC?
I ask you this because one of the RON amendment proposed (State issue 3),
would give certain special interests groups a higher limit to spend on campaigns, up to $10,000, protect & conceal these PACs from concealing their identities, and create a "swiftboat" effect similar to the federal campaign finance reform did; all under the guise of stopping the money in politics. If this issue passes, get ready for more literature, e-mails, calls, and ads.
