According to the Sun Newspaper, Mayor George will announce, on Monday, the plans for a multi-use development on Detroit at Rosewood.

The project is supposed to consist of a three story building that will house 11 condo units and retail space on the main floor.

Both the developer, North coast Capital Partners and the Mayor will make the announcement at 1PM Monday, according to the paper.

This sounds pretty exciting. If its the corner I think it is, it will be a vast improvement.

Smaller scale projects like these, dispersed throughout the city, are precisiely what Lakewood needs. In addition to the new housing, these may encourage neighboring property owners to improve their own property as well as generate excitement.

Good work on the part of the planning depatment and the mayor.

Grace...This is very good news for Lakewood. We need more development like this Mixed Use Overlay. Does anyone know if Ganley or Barry are moving to larger locations in the West suburbs?

8) Lots of land in Westlake and Lorain.
