The PD's agenda has always been to marginalize Lakewood. Hence, the continuous reporting and sensationalizing of any crime in the city. If anything, they do a disservice to Summers with their constant harping on crime in the city.
I'm more inclined to go with someone who knows and loves Lakewood for an opinion.
Nicki Antonio has endorsed Michael Skindell.

Hm, I haven't seen anything stating that but have heard rumors. I know she went to a fundraiser. Do you have a solid confirm on it?

Nicki Antonio's endorsement of Mike Skindell for mayor speaks volumes given that she served with Mr. Summers on the Lakewood City Council .

Disappointing. Guess I'll have to talk with the wife before she sends her a check this year.

And she has worked with and been aside Skindell for more years, let's not forget that, in fact, he was at her wedding.

Todd, So I guess what your saying is that she has had plenty of opportunity to measure both candidates.

Nope, that Skindell is a personal friend and they have worked together for a very long time. The Mayor was on Council from 2007 to 2011, but Nickie left in 2010, only 3 years with the Mayor. You know this stuff why am I bothering.

Isn't that a little vindictive? You disagree with her on one issue?
I thought we elect representatives to "do the right thing" and not let loud voices influence them.
Don't you trust your representative who you probably voted for since you gave her money?

Todd, Just so I'm clear, Nicki Antonio worked alongside Mike Summers for three years on City Council and she is endorsing Mike Skindell for mayor?

I may be missing something, and definitely travel a lot for work so may be out of the loop, but what crime(s) has the PD sensationalized for Lakewood that is above and beyond any other crimes that happen in Cleveland and the surrounding area? The PD has a lot of faults, don't start me on no delivery Mon/Tue/Thu, but I have never for a second thought they were trying to marginalize Lakewood.

And the website is not good to boot. It's difficult to find anything except for sports most times.
