Build Lakewood: Neighbors Advocating for Neighbors

Friends: I feel the need to report that many of us are being misled. Last night I received a card from the Save Lakewood Hospital group. It contained many distortions that you’ve been exposed to before. I am not going to abuse you with those.
I do, however, feel I need to inform my neighbors that we are being misinformed about the identity of the grassroots organization Build Lakewood. You’ll be pleased to know that it has no affiliation with the Cleveland Clinic. The funding for the effort comes from the personal checking accounts of your neighbors. These individuals have dedicated themselves to assuring you and your loved ones continue to get the immediate medical attention that you deserve when you need it most.
I am proud to contribute to Build Lakewood. Even if you disagree with what the group is advocating, you too can be proud to call these dedicated individuals your neighbors. It is passionate city residents, irrespective of their position on the topic, that make our city great and place that we want to call home. This realization is one worthy of revisiting, as we all share the goal of helping our city to succeed.
