This post is the first in a series of posts that will expose how Mayor Summers has made improper promises of public contracts and/or money to an inner circle of BL supporters.
Based upon credible information and belief:

1. Back as early as 2013, David Stein had been given the heads up on the plan that Lakewood Hospital would be closing.

2. By February/March, 2015, David Stein had completed landscaping design plans for the planned developments at the current Lakewood Hospital based upon his belief he had a contract for landscaping plans and designs.

3. David Stein is shown on the Build Lakewood website using the term “New Health and Wellness Center”—but that video of Mr. Stein was made prior to the time that secret documents using the term “Health and Wellness Center” were made public. After I saw the video, I spoke to Mr. Stein--he could not explain to me where he got that term he used in the video. Remarkably he said he had not read any of the relevant documents relating to Lakewood Hospital.

4. David Stein is a vocal BL supporter—see the attached picture where he was upset about the facts Kucinich presented at a public forum.

5. Summers/Butler responded to a public records request by claiming they have no record of the David Stein contract or plans.
Summers has made many promises to BL supporters to curry favor for his illicit plans.

He is covering up illegal contract/promise/bribe given to a BL member.

Get Involved: If anyone has any information that could confirm or contradict the information I have pointed to above and any other illegal contracts and bribes please post it on the Deck or contact me on a confidential basis.

Since the BL crowd repeatedly claims that noone reads the Deck, I'm sure Mr. Stein won't be bothered by this revelation.

They don't read the Deck? That's hysterical considering that the instant anything is posted on here they are on social media sites, the Buzz, and the PD site using multiple fake names to attack either the poster or the facts.

We are more than willing to prosecute copyright violations. Winnings always given to charity.

I always laugh, those that hide behind fake names, and pump out lies and innuendo. belittle the Deck as BS, lies,stupid people, whatever the "non-meanspiristed people say" have this belief that there is no credibility here at the Deck and they do not want to share theirs.

The reason the Deck is credible is because they are not here.

Plain and simple, it was easier to spend $1 million on crisis management, than answer questions for free here. In a 100% honest and adult conversation where everyone is accountable.

That alone should underline what a fraud the "Civic Leaders" really are.

They are not civic leaders, they are sheep herders.

David Anderson, is a real CIVIC LEADER, he comes in, states facts, answers question and even people that do not agree with him admit he is fair and open.

As I have said since this story broke, "We are getting played." I expect the Cleveland Clinic to act like a corporation. I do not expect our elected officials to throw in with them, sell out the people of Lakewood, for a few friends, while lying and covering up the truth while spending ONE MILLION DOLLARS IN PUBLIC FUNDS on CRISIS MANAGEMENT, to sell us their lie, and massive bad mistake to us.

They are not here, because they do not want to be accountable for the lies they spread, and the mistakes they make again, and again and again.

As one member so aptly put it at the Library Gathering, to paraphrase, "Lakewood is too stupid to understand this, they cannot be trusted to vote on it and besides I don't like the way they vote."

This comment which is now the battle cry of Build Lakewood should make every American SICK.

When you see a Build Lakewood sign, read "Lakewood is too stupid to understand this, they cannot be trusted to vote on it and besides I don't like the way they vote."

They cannot handle the light of day, the truth, the questions, or any form of transparency.

As for Maggie, Manno and Stein

Let's get back to a reasoned debate. Look at the original post above. I did not accuse Mr Stein of a deal with CCF or affiliates. I did not even say he had a landscaping business. Although someone has contacted me in response to the post and sadi he did design the landscaping at some pink houses near Summers house I have not verified that. So let's stick to the facts and not go on witch hunts.

Just asking ...

A full month has gone by and still there is no direct denial by Summers and/or Stein of the information and belief upon which this thread started.

Although Summers and Stein threatened my First Amendment Rights shortly after this thread (Stein went to the Police the following week to make a false report), I believe they do have the right to remain silent per their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.

The original source is someone very close to Stein.

Does anyone have any direct evidence that contradicts or confirms this thread?
