Last night at about 10pm, the sky still had a little blue in it.

Tonight, if we can see it will be a another rare event in our solar system. A full lunar eclipse with the moon at its closest distance to the earth.

The moon will appear 14% larger in the sky tonight, creating "The Super Moon" and with the addition of the eclipse, it will be red, creating a "Super Blood Moon," something that happens once every 30 years.

If the clouds allow it, it will be going on from 8:40 pm - 12:10 am, totality will be from 10:11 pm 11:23 pm.

Photographers, amateur astronomers, residents everywhere, will be hoping for clear skies.

With a little haze last night we were able to get these of the full moon.

It ended up being cloudy through the entire lunar eclipse, but just as totality ended, there were small breaks in the clouds and we tried.

I'm sure the clouds were Obama's fault.
