At 3am a call went out for a single car accident on Athkins between Madison and Hilliard.

Image
The woman driving, and only occupant had gotten out and was sitting on the side of the road.

A quick check found her feeling good enough to walk over to the ambulance for a check up.

Image

Image
She caught the left rear bumper of the truck, sending her car down and over, while the
truck was hit hard enough to be pushed into the car in front of it, which was pushed into
the car in front of that.

Back from the check-up the emotions catch up with the driver. Coherent, and sober
the woman explains how the accident happens and was ticketed.

Once it was determined the driver was not hurt, the neighbors pose for a quick photo.
Great people to spend time with at 3am.

Image
Kuffner arrives to turn the car over, and it ends so much better than it could have.

Neighbors were complaining of high speeds on the street, but it does not appear that speed
or alcohol contributed to this accident.

Once again great work Lakewood Police and Fire!

Nothing to see, move along, go back to sleep.

Nice work! Obviously after I let you off, you didn't retire for the night? LOL

It seemed like a car day/night moment, sleep is for the weak.

I heard that BOOM at 3:00. I just knew it was a car crash. Seems that some folks gotta learn--- you have to keep the greasy side down and the shiny side up!
