GOP Presidential Debate Photos 8/6/15

Post by Michael Deneen »

As part of the Observer news team, I attended the GOP Presidential Debate yesterday at Quicken Loans Arena.
We spent the entire day covering both debates, including asking questions and interviewing candidates in the "spin room".

Here is a link to my photo gallery, which also contains lots of photos from outside the arena. There were numerous interesting protesters representing the full gamut of causes (from personhood to marijuana legalization to the Iran nukes deal).

Jim O'Bryan and Alex Belisle will have much larger and better galleries (including celebrities and photos of me interviewing numerous candidates).
I will have a full story in the next edition of the Observer.

Thanks for your coverage and for those great shots, Mike!

Thanks also to Jim and Alex for spending their time down there yesterday. I really think that this debate was historic for the Republicans, and particularly so, for Mr. Trump. Time will tell...

...and you three, representing our Observer family, were there to see it all!

Thanks as well for your kind words regarding me in the paper this week, and for the excellent coverage of the Medicare/Lakewood Hospital march.

I think this Observer Project is making history, as well.

Back to the banjo...

Mike,
Thanks for the pictures. I did not realize there were that many protesters. It's great that we still have the right to do this in this country. You looked great in your suit!
