Hey folks. I'd like to make everyone aware of something that has me unsettled.

I've been posting here and in the Save Lakewood Facebook group. My opposition to the hospital closure is evident. I was also active in the anti 47 West End controversy.

Never once have I felt unsafe in my city, nor have I been afraid to state my opinion. Until now.

Today I was perusing Facebook when I received a Friend Request. To my surprise, it was from Rick Ukdricks. Rick works for the city as a building inspector and is a founding of Build Lakewood. He is active in the Summers group promoting the plan to close the hospital.

I have no mutual friends with Rick Uldricks. I've never met him, have no common interests, and do not run in the same circles. He has NO reason to want to be my friend.

Why is he trying to friend me on FB other than he sees my public posts opposing the plan? Is he trying to get personal information about me?

Why am I uneasy? Because I know Mr Uldricks to be a vindictive person. He frequently posted on the other site, LakewoodBuzz, and he was obsessed over a neighbor's upkeep of her property. He set up a website calling her a slum landlord, and posted pictures of her home in Lakewood, her home in Strongsville, and her personal info - address and phone numbers.

Rick Uldricks scares me. I do not want him contacting me. I'm making this very public because I want everyone to know that I find this intimidation reprehensible and all the more so because HE WORKS FOR THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD.

I met this guy after I attended a Build Lakewood PAC meeting. He interrupted my conversation with Dru Siley trying to get me involved in the hurt Jim O'Bryan has put on him.

I share your concern about our City's choices in employees whose responsibilities include interacting with the public. In the private sector, this guy would be gone, but I don't know much about how Summers Rubber chose employees or terminated them.

The only times Rick Uldricks enters my life is when he is screwing with me or the Observer
which is damn near too often, a friend at the FBI used the term "Cyber Terrorist"

The reason you cannot edit posts here is DL and I caught him screwing with records, and
deleting posts, which ruined the continuity of the Deck. He was given a time out, which
about 10 members have had, including myself. But instead of coming back he tried to
launch site after site to get rid of the FREE SPEECH Lakewood Observer.

He then went off and according to a letter he sent me in my possession, using 5 different
names on 7 sites to trash me, the Observer, my family, and friends that worked with us,
Ken Warren, the Library, the Schools, etc.

Recently we have been in correspondence as he had gone through 11 steps of the 12 step
process, and told me he is now clean and sober, and he was only doing this as a drunk.

He then tried at least 6 different fake names to get on the Deck and couldn't so he created
"Pete Za Hut" to attack those he didn't like on Cleveland DOT com, Facebook, Buzz,
anywhere he could register under a fake name. Many of the posts can still be seen, and
some we have on record or with our lawyers.

He then acquired the The Lakewood Observer FB page and was running that posting
embarrassing things. Our lawyer Steve Ott finally had to threaten to sue Facebook to get
our registered name back. Getting it back from him on Twitter was much harder.

his final attempt at putting the "Jim O'Bryan out of business" was Lakewood Citizen+
another place he hides behind a fake name and collects emails and personal information.

What is most troubling is that the Mayor was well aware of Rick's past, and that possibly
he is the last person in Lakewood I would trust with personal information when he hired
him for his "Summers for Mayor" website, and oddly he became an employee for the
city in the building department, where once again he not only has access to everyone's
personal information but can legally walk into yards and homes.

I was willing to give the Mayor a chance, until 5 weeks ago when I got this, after learning
he was hired by the Mayor and Dru Siley (Dru knew the problem too). When a Mayor
hires a person that he knows cannot be trusted with information because of intimidation
and places him in a position of authority, that mayor no longer cares about the safety of
the residents. HE HAS FAILED AS A SAFETY DIRECTOR! His primary job.

He came up to Brian, telling him I was full of it, so I showed Brian the letters. Every
email I get is copied to my lawyers. This is the kind of thing the Summers name
now stands for, intimidation, lies, fake names, and stalking. No wonder he never
bothered to tell us a rapists was working the city.

One would have to think he was hired for exactly what you are experiencing, stalking
and intimidation. Well that will make people want to move to Lakewood, get your house
inspected by an identity thief.

Some of his "friends" like Chris Bindel and Ryan Salo have come clean with what they
have told them, Chris on tape. Ryan a good man with a good family was just sick by it.

You are on record, maybe all the women over 50 and I should go to City Hall and get
a blanket restraining order from the new "Building Inspector" wink wink.

* So we can understand, City Hall completely controlled Colin at Patch, his reward for printing misstruth, a job to print more. Citizen, on the mayor and city;s payroll, so much
for them being unbiased. Bruce under fear of firing, they control Cleveland.com.

WHY IS THIS CITY HALL FILLED WITH DEMOCRATS SO AFRAID OF FREE SPEECH THEY HIRE GOONS TO KNOCK IT DOWN.

This City Hall, is morally bankrupt.

Excuse me, Corey, but I do not work for the City of Lakewood.

I am not the one out there trying "friend" people who disagree with my position on the hospital. I am not the one who posted links on the Buzz to websites that violated a person's privacy.

Reading websites that keep me informed about my city is not stalking. I know who you are from your posts here. Do I "know" you? Have I stalked you because I know who you are from reading here?

Contacting people you don't know, trying to see their private FB posts, setting up websites with another person's personal information, THAT is stalking.

I'm sorry you don't see the difference.

I find your comments to Jim uncalled for. Jim has always been a fine upstanding member of our community and runs the only decent newspaper in town. He not only is truthful, but he also allows people with opposite opinions to post here. And yes, Although not often wrong, Jim will admit it if he makes a mistake, unlike our mayor.

As for the city stalkers, I myself have been stalked by members of this administration and so has my son. It IS happening Corey, honest!

My bad, Corey. I was refering to another post. However, I just feel like when people make posts on here, that you question their reliability. Maybe I'm interpreting you wrong, but that is just how it appears to me.

However, I do feel you owe Bridget an apology. I interpreted your post to Bridget as being accusatory.

I do believe that my son and I have been stalked by members of the administration. I do have documentation to support my accusation, but I don't feel comfortable releasing it yet.

I hope we're not enemies now, Corey.

I 100% agree that cyber bullying and stalking are serious crimes. I hope the proper authorities are notified. Otherwise to me it looks like spinning a marketing campaign between media outlets. Building hype and spreading over outlets. Notifying your friends of a crime on social media is not the same as calling the police. I hope proper steps are taken if needed or threats are felt.

Corey and I have history, he owes me nothing.

As for stalking, cyber bullying, identity theft, and cyber terrorism, all have different meanings
and in this sensitive world, they often get confused. All of them, are the work of a sick person.
I know we can all agree about that.

I am but a citizen, not fine, or unfine, just another one of the masses.

However the Observer is open, and even Rick is welcome back all he gas to do is have a
sit down, so we can explain the rules, and why he is in time out. But I am thinking he
and many others leaders in Lakewood prefer places then can use fake names.

Each to their own.

This is just a general question that is not necessarily directly applicable, but- does the City in its employment application process ask the applicant if he or she has a Concealed Carry Permit?
Regardless of any particular animosity or fear of posting on The Observation Deck I would think that a response from the proper City official would be reassuring.
Absent any response, I would have to think that any request for City service would have to be accompanied by a concurrent response from responsible law enforcement.

This is authored by a new poster ("IrishEyes") who seems comfortable with the style and conventions of the Buzz, and follows the emergence and fade out of another new poster ("mrpoggs") with similar writing style and interests, mainly the hospital deal.

Is Rick Uldricks stalking me too? Today in Cleveland.com there was a comment from "Borneo" (which is my car license plate with the Save Lakewood Hospital signs) accusing Save Lakewood Hospital of being ignorant old folks who should just let the hospital go.
Having read the various posts here on the Deck, I am guessing that Rick Uldricks perhaps is the person who is impersonating me in the Plain Dealer comments.
Is he following me around? Does he know where I live? What else is he trying to find out?
This kind of intimidation by a City employee is intolerable and illegal.
