What a great weekend! Thank you to everyone at City Hall, especially Melissa Garrett and
city service crews. Also, Lakewood Fire and Police, you showed just how good you were
this past weekend, and everything went very smoothly.

It is important that for these large events, that everything goes smoothly because these
are the events that market this town. Most of the people I talk to out of this city talk of,
1) Art Festival, 2)Fourth of July, 3)Car Show, 4)LA Beer Tasting 5)Taste of Lakewood.
We all need to be on our best, so we can attract more like minded residents. Residents
dedicated to schools, libraries, education, and quality of life.

This issue, covers all of that and more.

Another act of love from the residents and businesses of Lakewood.

peace/love

I'm happy to announce the return of the "CCLAS Adopt-a-Pet" feature.
The Observer will spotlight a different furry friend each issue.....be sure to check them out, you might find a new best friend.

Please make the Lakewood Animal Shelter your first stop whenever you are seeking a new dog or cat.
Visit the CCLAS website at www.cclas.info

Cameron

I have very little to do with it.

I am just surrounded by great women, and great volunteers.

Of course living in Lakewood makes that easy.
