I attended the fireworks display at the park last night (which was awesome). Aside from the fireworks, it was really refreshing to see all different ages, backgrounds, and races all coming together to celebrate. As far as I could tell, everyone got along. I hope to one day see this diversity reflected in the staffing composition at City Hall.

I too was pleasantly surprised by seeing this mix also. I even decided to interview some after I did a shoot of the "Lakewood Project"
