Lights on, doors open and people inside at 9:30 at night. Anyone got an idea what's going on?

I live on Parkwood, and apparently some type of business is moving in and also claiming the large parking lot next door. The neighbor who heard the news speaks English as a second language, so a lot was lost in translation. We do know that there will be increased truck traffic as a result, but are not sure what exactly the business is.
We're just relieved it won't be the site of Lakewood's newest brewery/gastropub/bar/restaurant/arcade . . . .

...it was a perfect site for a rec center I think. Lord knows it's been empty long enough!

In all seriousness, that would be an ideal location for the Clinic's proposed operation.
It's centrally located, has parking, and is easy to reach.
It's also just a few blocks from Lakewood Hospital, which could then be effectively run by new operators.
The Clinic could keep a presence in the lucrative Lakewood market, and the hospital could be saved.
win/win

Yeah, but Sears doesn't have a Save Lakewood Hospital sign in their window!

Bill - I hope like hell you are yanking Glenn's chain! (Get it? Chain? Hardware?

)
If Sears IS opening a hardware store, that's about as close Lakewood will get to a big-box store!

I live on the street, we've been told it has been re-zoned for light industrial (nice of them to ask for our input) and that a box manufacturer was moving in . . .

Well at least it wasn't those dog people that had a couple million to invest or, the
Roll Hall of Fame, or Hot Sauce Williams, they were all told not in Lakewood. The Dog people
took their money to Portland where they are printing money, and looking to open more clinics.
