A message from Lakewood City Schools CFO/Treasurer Kent Zeman:

Attached is the agenda for the regular meeting of the Lakewood Board of Education, which will be held on Monday, April 20, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the Garfield Middle School Cafetorium, 13114 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107. This meeting will be a discussion of the agenda items to be acted upon at the same meeting, given that the Board will only meet once in regular session during the month of April, 2015.

Kent R. Zeman, CFO/Treasurer

Lakewood City Schools

A couple things on the agenda stood out. In the Superintendent's report, lots of winning students, for Reflections, Art and Writing, and Academic Challenge.

Also under the Superintendent's Report, letter E: Calendar Revisions (Days to Hours.) I'm not sure what this means but most people I talk to still don't know that we have a shortened summer vacation this year.

And under X. Other Board Business, letter C, this: Resolution to Approve Modification of Collective Bargaining Agreement with Lakewood Teachers Association – Request Approval on One Reading (ROLL CALL VOTE)

Come out tonight and check in with what the schools are doing. Tonight's meeting will open with some impressive students.
