Weekend In And Around Lakewood - DO NOT TRY AT HOME!

Post by Jim O'Bryan »

So many people got upset with this card that calls attention to the fact that we are
Cleveland's closest neighbor, but on weekends, it pays huge dividends. I get a kick out
of the "Eastside/Westside" debate. I have spent more time on ramps in Chicago than
I have driving across the county at rush hour. One reason we should have stayed with
"Best Location In The Nation," we are!

Took a quick spin past the Rock Hall ceremonies on Saturday. Parked 1/2 block from the
festivities, and saw this...

DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME

This was extremely unwise, and very dangerous, and highly illegal!

At the Lorain Bridge over the Emerald Canyon, Deb sees something unusual.

Up again!

"Bruno Stevens" and friends were from Fairview, and it seems some of this was youthful
exuberance, some of it "Well it is the first really nice weekend so we were screwing around
down in the canyon having fun when..."

Alls well that ends well, but this could have been really screwed up!

On the Lakewood border we stop again...

The Blue Herons are back in their nest! While not the 144 nests like in Bath Road. But
it is great to see.

Also saw a river otter for the first time, but no photos, too elusive!
