Easter Sunday In And Around Lakewood, Ohio

I am sure everyone spent yesterday doing different things. Church for many, dinner, family,
friends, working in the garden, walking in the canyon. Here are some photos from my
Easter Sunday.

Grabbed coffee at The Root, headed back saw this warning. Ended up not being an official
warning from the City or State, thanks to all tht mentioned they didn't think it was the city
or the state.
Whew for a second...
Off to the Emerald Canyon for me, walking and looking for Eagles, but it was slow going...

Real slow going.

These two did about a hundred yards in the middle of the road. Finally a goose came off
the edge of the road and chased them out.

Looking into the woods, you can see life coming back. Walking into the woods you can smell
the earth again, spring is in the air.

Up on the nest, on sitting and rolling the egg(s)

Down on the river one fishing.

The view from the top of Hogs Back Road. It has such a great view this time of year. Second
only to the fall!
Meanwhile overhead the vultures fly.

I think we may have more buzzards than Hinckley.
After brunch I noticed patterns...

Pancake Ice, formed by melting and freezing whle the edges get rounded by banging
against each other.

Collecting under Pier W.

While the lake seems mostly ice free.

Back to the garden, then...
Then downtown to get a couple shots of the moon over the city.

Another wonderful Easter in and near Lakewood, Ohio.
