Keep your kids safe and be sure they have a helmet!

Bike Lakewood, Lakewood PTA, the Safe Kids Greater Cleveland Coalition and the Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital Injury Prevention Center are offering True Fit bike helmets for sale at a reduced cost. All helmets are made by Bell Sports, Inc. and are tested to exceed the stringent bicycle helmet standards of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Bike Helmets may be purchased for just $10 for all kids and adults in your family.

Also, Bike to School Day is May 27th for all middle school students attending Garfield and Harding Middle Schools in Lakewood. To receive the participation goodie bag and to be eligible for raffles, students MUST wear a bike helmet in accordance with Lakewood bike laws. Students purchasing a bike helmet will receive their helmet in time to participate in Bike to School Day.

Orders must be placed by April 17th and can be purchased online or by check.

Just a reminder that the deadline to order a bike helmet is this Friday. The helmets are $10 each with size ranging from toddler to adult. Keep the whole family safe this summer when out riding a bike!
