Senator Sherrod Brown stop by Fire Station 1 today to address the need to keep the
government open and functioning through any talks of budget.
With so much funding coming through the federal government paying for so many items used
by police and fire for our safety, Senator Brown wanted to make sure to let us know he is
doing his part to keep government open.
Also in attendance was Mayor Summers, and representatives from Pepper Pike, Westlake,
Rocky River and of course Lakewood!

Yes, by all means, please keep the government running... we absolutely need to have the federal government keep collecting millions of dollars from Lakewood citizens so it can send hundreds of thousands of dollars to Ohio, who then sends thousands of dollars to Cuyahoga county, who can then allocate hundreds of dollars to the city of Lakewood so that our Fire Department can get fifty bucks.
thank you ever so much.
