Kauffman Park has something to offer in ALL seasons.

With plenty of snow in the forecast, Kauffman Park Friends is launching their Snow Sculpting Contest again! We encourage individuals, teams, families, businesses and organizations to join in the fun and share their artistic talents with the community. See the Official Entry Form for details, check the Kauffman Park Friends Facebook page for updates and enjoy the park this season whether sculpting, sledding, snowshoeing or just strolling through.

This one's from last year. This year we might try to stand it up. Don't miss your chance to populate Kauffman Park with whatever your heart desires and your cold fingers can create. The Root is very close with hot chocolate and Cafe Mocha's and cookies and soup.

I lost my old cell phone or I'd post the photo of The Snow Pants.

This is a great time for all. Have the kids do drawings at first before you set out.

Hey here's the thread from the last one. Check it out! We made the snow pants! We do not know the person who made the chicken. (Actually we do.)

Betsy,

Thanks for the inspirational angel and link to the 2012 contest thread. Has it really been three years?!

Keep in mind that this is not just for kids. It can be a great team building exercise for businesses and organizations as well. So come on grown-ups, pull on those snow pants and have some fun!
