RTA is bragging about "expanded" service on Clifton 55 line, but how is this bus line user-friendly when bus stops are 10 blocks apart? Are there really that many CSU students living on Clifton?

The goal was to make getting downtown from Clifton fast and comfortable. That's why we got
  • new, larger shelters with more places to sit and bike racks
  • new, larger, nicer looking buses with more places to sit
  • faster service because
    • stops are spread out so the buses don't have to stop as often
    • the buses have right-of-way in the outside lane during rush hour

The result: Buses arrive every 10-15 mins during rush hour, I always have somewhere to sit, and the bus gets me from Warren to downtown in <20 mins - faster than driving in rush hour traffic especially if I have to find parking.

You won't hear me complaining. Great job GCRTA!
