Let's Light Up Lakewood, For Real, Holiday Lighting Contest

A potential winner for "Best UseOF A Single Color?"
We were saddened to hear that LECPTA was not putting on their Christmas Lighting Contest again this year. As we have always enjoyed holiday lighting displays and the creativity of Lakewoodites, we thought we here at the LO should pick up the ball.

OR "Best Business - Non-Entertainment"
So here is the deal, NO ENTRY FEE, but let us know what displays you think are worth checking out, through the Deck, the Contest on the Front Page of our website, on our Facebook page, by phone, or write it down and drop it off at the office, or Jim Crawford’s Office of the Lakewood Public Library. We will collect and photograph them and place them online for voting. December 22, we will announce the top three in each class and ask people to vote. In the first issue of the New Year, we will place the display with the most votes on the front page, and all of the winners will be featured in the paper.
