Take That Buffalo! Want Some More...

Two days ago I got a call from Mary Carol Warren Lusic, to check out the lake it is strange!
So I went down to Clifton Beach and it didn't seem strange as much as there was a thin
layer of vapor hovering about 6 10' above the water and at moments you could see it lift
up into the skies. This is simple evaporation, but because of the January temps, it was
turning to ice crystals immediately and getting sucked up.
Enhanced you can see what we could see with the naked eye...

What we were watching is the record snow for Buffalo being made. You can still see it today.

But from above, this shot at Pier W. The fog was mimicking the waves, with waves
seeming to leap into the sky, at the right moments.

While it looks like slush on the lake, it was a separate layer flowing on its own.
Thank you Mary Carol Warren Lusic for the tip!
