Fire Department Saves Boater's Life, Boat Not So Much

Around 7:50am a call went out boat on fire, person in the water!

After saving the boater, they go back to control the fire.

There is no doubt the Lakewood Fire Department saved a life today. The boater had been in
the water for nearly 30 minutes, and was getting weak from exposure. Lakewood first on
the scene, saved the day with Rocky River arriving next and the Coast Guard as the fire
was put out, nearly another 30 minutes later.
GREAT WORK LAKEWOOD FIRE DEPARTMENT!
Leaving was a problem, as a car had driven off the drive!

Blocking many of Lakewood Fire and Police at the beach.

But the police got it cleared fast!
Good work Lakewood Police!
