Driving past Sinagra Park on the way to breakfast at The Shore this morning, I noticed a
strange yellow contraption in front of my office.

A bike repair station. If you are a bicyclist you know just how painful it can be to repair a bike
along the side of the road.

The tools you might need located on long cables, and the rack turns into a bike stand.

Easy to follow instructions, they are also located in Lakewood and Madison Park.

You got of love it when the city works to make parks nicer for all.

I saw the one at Lakewood Park this morning....GREAT addition!

The city is doing a pretty good job working with the biking community.

At Lakewood Park it is just west of the Woman's Pavilion.

ImageBefore the dust had settled at Madison Park,
"Logan" was using the tools to tighten up his bike. "This is great, I didn't have these tools at
home," now Logan and others can tighten seats, and handle many emergencies on the road.

"Yeah this is cool."

Gee, and here I was wondering whether this thing might have been a relic periscope from a certain 1960's submarine....

Back to the banjo... :D
