Mr. Melt Matt Fish owner of Melt(s) finds me within seconds of hitting the middway. Matt is
one of the real cornerstone's of Downtown Lakewood. No other retail establishment in
Lakewood has done more to get Lakewood on the map, especially for food.

How can you not love these two. Director of LakewoodAlive, Ian Andrews, and President
of LakewoodAlive Sean McDermott. Moments before they got real busy pouring beers.

Vince Frantz has the skateboarders flying on his portable skate park, courtesy of Public Square Group.

Serious air...

Hard Landing...

Damn!

Michael Gill's Water Moose sponsored by Lakewood Hardware.

Three generations of the Slife Family.
Then the party!

Ian,
I hope the following comment doesn't seal your doom:
You are doing an outstanding job with LakewoodAlive! I have been very impressed with your leadership and the inclusive approach you and your LakewoodAlive team has taken. Keep up the great work!

Wowie!
NOW it's time for that banjo sing-along!
(You gotta take these opportunities when you can get 'em!)
Back to the banjo....

Gary
For the record, Matt has been a huge supporter of the New LakewoodAlive since Ian and crew came on.
For the record, the Lakewood Observer has been one of the largest supporters of LakewoodAlive
since they were started.
Don't listen to the hype, don't ignore the facts.
The New LakewoodAlive is just is great. Competent leadership, great ideas, focus and carry through.
Respect for residents, neighborhoods, and the community no BS. A nice change.
FWIW

Jim ,oh Jim....
I may play the banjo jester around here but I NEVER ignore the facts....
I just take the positive where it falls and appreciate it. Particularly when our community is able to work together. It's great when we see complimentary remarks regarding good people and institutions in our town.
Neither am I one for hype either...
As far as priorities go, you have what's important to you. Others have what's important to them...
Me? I'm just the banjo player....
...but I also have what's important to me, and I do like sing-a-longs!
Back to the banjo...
