Today around 2:50, it was reported a white SUV made a lane change from the center lane to the right trying to make the Warren Road exit of I-90. The white SUV hit the silver car sending them both down the highway sliding sideways. The silver car rolled twice landing on it's wheels the SUV 1.5 time landing on it roof. Inside was a family of 4, the mother was
taken to Fairview Hospital for scraps and bruises. The older gentleman in the Silver sedan,
was taken by stretcher to an ambulance to Lakewood Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Lakewood Fire and police were on the spot before anyone got out of the car, and had
everything including traffic handled perfectly.
Here are some images.

From the McKinly overpass looking west.

The family is out of the SUV and they are not stabilizing the gentleman in the silver car.

And off he goes.

A witness gives a statement from the SUV.

Traffic backed up quickly.
Kuffner got there right away to drag the cars away.

The car lands as $2 million dollars in Ferraris go by in the background!

Nothing to see move along. Actually the police and fire have been extremely busy today
with serious calls, one thought it could be the heat.
Could be a long summer.
Good work Lakewood Police and Fire!
