Standing ovation to everyone at the Beck for Bike the Beck especially, Cindy Einhouse, CEO and President, and Jillian Driscoll Party Planner for this event. It is always hard to gauge because so many riders take on the longer courses, but what a great time was had by all!

Then I heard some wild drumming and turned to the children's drum circle...

Big kid on that drum.

At high noon, Cindy gave a great little recap about how the Beck Center originally opened as Lakewood Little Theater on that spot, and it has grown to theater, professional theater, and arts classes for kids by the thousands. Seriously, if you think what was going on when Cindy started, Lakewood should be very grateful that not just a Lakewoodite, but Cindy Einhouse is at the helm.

The big talk amongst those of us there, was "I hope they have a chain saw, it looks pretty dense."

And sure enough out came the saw, as they worked feverishly to get inside.

Others jumped in to help and pick at it.

Filled with popcorn balls, the cutters went for the chocolate for energy!

What a great event, thank you everyone at Bike for Beck, now it was time to get up to
Taste of Lakewood, but what's the hurry, that place will not be packed.

Well that is a much longer story to be posted around noon with photos from the event that
I promise will capture the whole thing like no other content generator.
