No one really realizes just how dangerous and tough being a fire fighter is. Like police when called
they never know what they are going to or about to walk into. Check these out!

Image
When they arrived around 10pm last night the house was ablaze.

Image
Quickly the second floor was contained, then on to the attic.

Image
Her you can see firefighters on the 2nd floor while it is still burning, with the attic on fire. You ready
to run into this?

Image
As the fire is contained more vehicles arrive for support.

Image
Fire out. It did fire up a couple times!

Image
Everyone out and accounted for.

Image
Meanwhile the second group of firefighter in the house looking for a cause.

Image
And making sure the fire is out!

Image
All the firemen come out for a quick head count, and to see what is happening.

Image
All good, everyone here!

Image
I leave as the gas company arrives to find the gas lines with a metal detector!

GREAT JOB LAKEWOOD FIRE AND POLICE!!!

Thank you!

I drove by the charred remains this morning. A quick glance estimate would indicate a tear down.

Those flames are truly frightening because most fires seem to smolder for awhile and the response is so quick that they rarely get to this heavily engulfed stage.

I would really be interested to learn what the investigation turns up.

It seems that recognizing the service and bravery of our safety forces is becoming pro forma but JEEZ LOUISE!!! Look at those flames they rushed into!!!!!
