Every edition of the Observer is great, but I especially enjoyed a piece Gary did for issue 10/5.
It's an homage to the days of CB radio....I was a kid at the time, and it was everywhere.
I just had to link this video.

10-5?
That means to "relay the message".
So that a big 10-4 (message received) good buddy!
Thanks for the compliment!
Now if I could only locate the "squelch" knob on this 'Deck of ours.
Not too often, of course...
We're so fortunate to have this 'Deck as a great means of community interaction, only it would be kinda tough to apply the 10 code here.
Going 10-7 for now anyway. One Silversticks here, on the back side of the banjo...

I had a Jeep CJ-7 with a CB radio … and a speaker in the grill … when I was a kid.
I'm sure that my kids have no idea what a CB radio is … and … I’m not even sure they know about AM/FM radios.
I ride with some guys who still use CB radios on their motorcycles so they are still out there.
Nice article, Gary.
Well done.

Thanks Matt, Michael, and CB'ers everwhere.
Remember:
Keep your greasy sides down when you're crusin' LaWoodytown.
(translation-Don't flip the car over when you drive through Lakewood)
One Silversticks goin' 10-7, 'cause it's now past 11.
Back to the banjo.
