I was down there at the boat launch Saturday around noon when the ice started jamming up. In the matter of about 15 minutes the level of the ice went up about 15 feet and started coming over the wall by Sweetwater Landing. The Rangers came along and closed the area and shooed the onlookers out.

I went down today to see how the river was doing.
30 mph winds out of the south kept me limited to the 30 foot pole.
