While the city of Lakewood feel to some of the lowest and coldest temperatures of recent memories and some claims record lows, a minus -38 Wind Chill, in one Lakewood neighborhood it is heating up and it could be a war is eminent.
On the south end of Wayne Avenue two neighbors on opposite side of the street have been preparing for what can only seen as such an escalation that war is coming.

Built using various technologies including trash can block casting, with a layer or two of
ice this should be there well into the days of 40 degrees ahead.

Meanwhile across the street, they have stuck to typical snow fort building, with the addition
of coloring, ice layers and solar powered lighting for any war that breaks out after dusk.
As you can plainly seen, these two will not permit a snow fort gap on their street.
Stay tuned, and be careful on Wayne Ave. it could break out anytime, after 3:30pm any
day, or on snow days and weekends anytime!
