While sometimes it seems that single white guys should not be weather forecasters as our
3-5 inches seemed about 4.85" shorter than predicted.

The city was taking no chances putting down salt where needed, and it was needed. While
this snow/salt truck was spotted on Madison Avenue. Detroit had gotten a nice glaze of ice
by 8pm, and was much better after the salt truck did its thing.
The next couple days could be interesting with a break then another storm for Thanksgiving.
Stay warm.

You're being generous at 4.85

While you are here, how is the salt and shovel supply at Lakewood Hardware?
Not to mention the nice warm hats for shoveling featuring the nuts and bolt logo!

Thanks for sharing these photos, Jim.
Wow! What a blizzard!

There is more salt on the streets and roads than snow.

Every time I see the streets covered in white powder, I think of all that pollutant going into Rocky River and Lake Erie.
