It's to bad the Christian Science Building could not be saved but they had 20 years to save it.

The average Fresh Market Express seems to be about 15,000 feet. This will be a lot bigger. Any project that encourages people to shop East of Rocky River instead of West is a good thing.

It's to bad Lakewood Hospital didn't build something along Clifton years ago to capture all of that business driving by on its way to and from work.

I have an interesting tidbit from a Clinic employee that may get its own post.

Recent developments in that area could be bad news for Sapell's, the old-style supermarket on the Lakewood side of 117th.

The GFS (sp?) store is already opening across the street, and now Giant Eagle could return only a few steps away.
Aldi built a store a few years ago on 117 just north of Madison.

I know there is a heavy concentration of foot traffic in that area, but I don't know if it can sustain this many stores.
Sapells, which seems kind of dingy to me, could be the one that fails to survive.
