Smoke at Lakewood High, Nothing to see move along

If you saw the fire trucks and students outside this morning at Lakewood High, it was because people could smell smoke in the school.
To be safe everyone went outside while the cause was isolated which took awhile, according to Fire Chief Scott Gilman, because of the size of the building.
The cause was a motor overheating. It was never on fire, and was located and unplugged. The school was vented.
According to Board of Education President Ed Favre, the students have all gone back in the building, classes have resumed and at no time was anyone in danger.
Nothing to see here, move along.
