Do you use the 'New Posts' link or just browse the forums?

I'm just curious as I started a new topic in the 'Arts and Entertainment' forum:
viewtopic.php?f=26&t=12036which has only received 7 views. Because I love the 'new posts' link like one of my own children, it dawned on me that perhaps not all users do that and instead just come directly to the "Lakewood General Discussions" forum to see what's new.
So, which way do YOU use the Deck to find new info?

Brian--
I had to search just to find out what you meant by "New Posts." I think a lot of people don't sign on at all when they go to the Deck, so they don't see those buttons. You can only see them when you sign on. I don't sign on unless I feel the need to post. If I see something I want to answer, then I sign on.
There wasn't a choice in the poll for what I usually do which is pretty much only go to Lakewood General Discussions. I guess I think you should move your post about Shakespeare in Lakewood Park this weekend to Lakewood General Discussions because I don't think anyone is going to see it. (Well I guess 8 people have seen it now, because I tracked it down.)
A lot of times I don't check the other forums at all. The other day I posted the buildings that the new principals in the Lakewood School District have been assigned to on the Lakewood General Discussion Board without noticing that Ed Favre had posted them two hours before me in the Education forum. If you look at the dates on the forums that are above and below the Arts and Entertainment Forum you will see last date posted: 2011, 2012... I don't think people know about them. I just looked at Ed's post: 24 views. Mine: 228.
More outreach needed!
But for now, I think a post in Lakewood Gen Discussions about the two shows this weekend will get a lot more people there. In fact, had you not posted this Survey message, I would have missed the news of the free Shakespeare altogether and we really want to go.
Thank you!

Beginning next month, I will be leading up a new inititiative (bringing back an old one, actually) ... a monthly(?) coffee chat session where all "Observers" are invited to talk about the paper, our online presence, the direction of the Observer Project as a whole and how it fits into Our City and how it can help Our City move forward.
This is YOUR Project; YOUR newspaper, YOUR online forum. Thus, YOU should--and will--have input. We want to serve you as you serve Our City. The possiblilties are endless ... and I find that exciting.
Stay tuned. I'll be getting word out about our first (next?) LO Coffee Chat soon. I am meeting with Publisher Jim this evening to shore up the details.
