Kenneth Warren, Director of the Lakewood Public Library for over 25 years, author, poet,
musician, one of the founding members of the Lakewood Observer, LEAF, and many other
things that have made Lakewood what it is stopped back in Lakewood on his way to
Chicago to speak at a conference.

While we talked, walked and even drove around, I asked if he was still thinking of coming
back. While he took great glee at saying, "I hope I never have to eat another Cleveland Pizza."
He did talk about where Lakewood was with the county, the rest of the country and he still
saw a chance to propel Lakewood to a higher place as far as functioning, working together,
and learning. He had many ideas but...

Will he really have his residency in place to make it in under the 1 year residency
requirements? When I asked which Ward, he didn't think that mattered for what he had in mind.

Time will tell.
