Parade Observations

As always, it was a wonderful parade today.
Big thanks to the LO and all the groups who participated.
Traditional favorites include (but not limited to) the high school marching bands, Burning River Roller Girls, Dog Park, LEAF, Jim stuffed into the Isetta, and all the military/public safety groups.
Unless I'm mistaken, there were some new additions to the parade:
*The steel drum band (sadly I can't remember who they were with)
*The St. Ed's robot club, especially the kid in the rolling easy chair.
*LEAF had a veggie juggler and stilt people.
*The Moms Against Guns group
*For the first time in many years a saw some unicycles (I believe from Emerson)
*Did anyone notice the "Fire Truck for Rent" business? Seems a strange service.
My favorite outfit was a spectator wearing a Harlem Globetrotters jersey and a Confederate Flag baseball cap. He was standing on the north side of Lake at around Rosalie. If anyone has a photo, please post...I bet it would go as viral than the "Rules" sign.
Unless I'm mistaken, this is the first time in many years without the Keystone Cops....is there a reason?
