Around 11:45am a woman lost control of her car and smashed an RTA Bus Shelter.

Destroying the shelter and continuing through it...

Through the first set of bushes, into the next set of bushes...

Where it came to a stop inches from the apartment building.

No one was in the bus shelter at the time.

The woman was described as elderly and shaken up by onlookers. I can imagine, after
this ride, and about to hit an apartment building most of us would be shaken up.

I drove by just after it happened. She apparently also sideswiped a taxicab on the way to the bus stop. It's a miracle if there weren't any serious injuries.

Jim - Why?!?!? Why would the onlookers shake this poor woman up?? How awful ... after what she just went through?!?!?

(your 8th grade English teacher would be shaking her head over your syntax)

... but your photos: spot on!

Peter

Well my 8th Grade English teacher wouldn't know my name as well as Tony and Bea at
Rockway Delicatessen. or Nina at Midnight Market would. I was a pro at skipping English
for 7th-12th. By 10th grade they were so flabbergasted by my lack of skills they let me
fire up the darkroom again, after it not being used in 5 years, and concentrate on
photography and "communication."

I have more proofreaders than lawyers and god knows I have more lawyers than common sense.

Still, I manage to elude, and baffle the best of them.

Besides, how many times have you been with me when I am trying to convince someone
to write their story and they say, "I couldn't do that my English is terrible..." and I always
say, "I have the best editors in the business, they make me seem intelligent, they will
make you look like a genius."

Right?
