Grant Volunteer Tea was lovely

Hi all,
I attended my.. hmm, I don't know seventh Volunteer Tea at Grant school yesterday. This is a tea party for parents who have volunteered during the school year, complete with cake, served by students and the principal, Ms. Ramsey, and Ms. Paciorek, iced tea, homemade cards for every volunteer, chocolates to take home from Sweet Designs and roses for us all.
And this is before the entertainment-- every year the school puts on a show from kindergarteners through 5th graders, poetry, singing, skits, to say thank you.
Here Mrs. Berry's and Mr. Schreiner's second graders sing of all of things volunteers do, from Field Trips to book fairs, to helping in class. Each student had a different "song of thanks."
Here each student read out a letter for "V-o-l-unteer" with a different poem saying thank you.
It is one of our favorite days of the year. Thank you guys, you did it again.
