BOARD TO AUCTION FORMER MCKINLEY SCHOOL BLDG.

The Board of Education at its May 6 meeting approved a resolution authorizing the sale of the former McKinley Elementary building at public auction. The resolution was required in order to proceed to the next phase of the state-mandated process. No offers were received in the first phase, which gives first dibs to any charter schools operating or intending to operate in Lakewood. A 30-day public notice will be given before the auction begins.
