While talking with a neighbor he mentioned that after he, then Amanda Berry called the
police they led 3 women out, and I was thinking maybe Ashley Summers, but alas it was
Amanda's daughter. One can hope she too will be found.


The spontaneous neighborhood celebration that broke out last night after the news was broken.




Four houses down from West 25th Street, and within one block of thousands of cars a day
getting on the freeway and off in two locations.


Four house west of this intersection on Scranton, in Tremont was where these three women
were kept in a private prison for over a decade.


Cars line up on Scranton Ave. to get a look at the house.


Meanwhile on West 25th Street traffic was backed up for miles as people kept coming to
see the house.

I just got word that Linda Summers (Ashley's grandmother) will be interviewed by Fox 8 in the 5pm hour, and will be on Anderson Cooper 360 tonight.

The rescue of Gina, Amanda and Michelle has helped us get worldwide coverage for Ashley and some other missing children. So there has been additional good coming out of a bad situation.

Thought I'd share a pic from New York at CNN with Anderson Cooper. I was a guest on AC360 Special "Vanished"
I'm 2nd over to the left (glasses) from Anderson in front of the lady in Pink. Ashley's Grandpa is all the way left in the light blue shirt.

At 7:00am sharp, the FBI began the destruction of Ariel Castro's home on Seymour Ave.


A small crowd gathered included in the crowd was Michelle Knight, who came to release balloons in a show
of support for those children and women still missing.


FBI agents were everywhere looking at everything that came down.


Media was everywhere, and where there is media there is...

The end of the circus? Hardly I fear.

Just wondering ... is the FBI (like most of us in the private sector) required to get three bids from qualified contractors to do such work?

... or do they rely on word of mouth heard around the Cuyahoga County Administration Building? (as in: "Hey, Bob DiGeronimo and his boys at Independence Excavating do a good job and he might even kick in a few OSU football tickets." )
