Maybe Obama needs to declare a "War on Terror" again

Obama has refused to say we are in a war on terror, yet since he has taken office it looks like we are getting weaker. Is it his policy? Is it his attitude that is allowing things to slip through the cracks?

The FBI interviewed this muslim terrorist 2 years ago after receiving a tip from another country that he may be a radical and then he went to Moscow for 6 months and was not follow-up on??

I wonder how many more terrorist cells have formed in the US since our commander in chief backed off this war.

Maybe the Obama's have their priorities out of wack... (not saying obesity is not a problem)

Gee Ryan, why does it not surprise me that you have attempted to politicize the Boston Marathon bombing?

You said: The FBI interviewed this muslim terrorist 2 years ago after receiving a tip from another country that he may be a radical and then he went to Moscow for 6 months and was not follow-up on??

And how do you know that there was no follow-up on the situation? This seems to be yet another one of your baseless assumptions.

Gee, how did I know you would be one of the first to respond. :-)

Bush was successful at stopping terrorist attacks before they happened. Obama, not so much. How do I know the fbi didn't follow up successfully? 4 people are dead and hundreds directly impacted. We have great people that if allowed, can do amazing things. Obama isn't as strong on safety as bush was, he is more concerned with providing free food tv and cell phones to the folks that elected him. Oh yeah and moving the pro butcher and pro abnormal movements forward. Government is here to protect us above everything else, like I said earlier, I think his priorities are out of wack.

I prefer to avoid commenting on Ryan's inane posts.

However, the comment "Bush was successful at stopping terrorist attacks before they happen" is the stupidest thing I have ever read on the Observation Deck.

I try to avoid commenting as well, Michael, but at times I am unable to restrain myself.

Ryan, I seem to recall that the attack on the World Trade Center occurred on Bush's watch. I'm in no way attempting to say that the attack was his fault, because that would be as ludicrous as one of your statements.

After 9-11, he definitely was. 9-11 was 5 years in the planning. In that time, the previous admin had 2 opportunities to get bin Laden but refused. The previous admin also cut the CIA covert budget in Afghanistan knowing that bin Laden was there..
