Wellness Over Illness: Building A Community of Support

Last spring, the Lakewood Family Collaborative sponsored a panel discussion focused on mental health issues that effect the Lakewood community. Many members of the community expressed an interest in attending the discussion; however, could not make the day-time Collab meeting.
That discussion motivated members to form a new committee under the Collab umbrella that brings together all of the major mental health service providers in Lakewood to tackle some of these important issues. In response to the many people who would have liked to attend the panel discussion last spring, they have organized "Wellness Over Illness: Building A Community of Support". The event is scheduled as a breakfast that, hopefully, will allow more members of the community to get involved.
