A great move by City Hall.

But, I wonder why they didn't keep the "OneLakewood" brand going.

Spectacular!!!

Finally I was able to get up to speed.

I was able to see, that our representative is Dennis Kucinich, and that my Ward 1
Councilman, looks just like 450 people I play poker against on my iphone!

A tremendous step forward for this tech savvy city.

In the 'Wood, we measure success as moving forward "100 yards" per year. See http://lakewoodobserver.com/read/2013/04/02/100-yards-further-than-last-yearmayor-summers-2013-state-of

Don't be so hard on City Hall, Jim.

Jim,

Okay, it is still too early to tell whether the "Report" function on the app went the whole 100 yards but City Hall appears to have a touchdown on the initial kickoff return from the end zone.

The play is currently under official review.

In the meantime, I just reported "craters" in front of my driveway apron. The app lets you take photos and even dictate a verbal message. So far, I'm impressed. Very impressed!

If the problem actually gets fixed, I think City Hall met its annual 100 yard quota on this one.

Again, the play is still under official review.

From City Hall's MyLakewood App:

Potholes on Belle will be repaired as soon as the main streets are done.

Hey ... it's a response ...

How is "main streets" defined ... and when will the "main streets" be "done?" Anyone?

Thanks, Peter!

Now City Hall will start a "main street definition" committee to study this issue, too.
