World of Beers officially cut the ribbon and opened their doors today.

Planning Director Dru Siley, LakewoodAlive Director Ian Andrews, Party Planner Ken Brand
along with Lakewood Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Patty Ryan and Val Mechenbier
were all there with their big scissors to make it official.

I unfortunately was too drunk to take the photo and had to drive across town to another
function so this night photo will have to do!

Lakewood's Brewery District just gets bigger and better!

Since Jim was "unavailable" to take a photo of the ribbon cutting ceremony, I volunteered to do an artists' rendering of the ribbon cutting ceremony.

They opened the day AFTER St. Paddy's Day??

That's like opening a fireworks store on July 5th or a toy store on December 26.

Mike

Actually 2 of the 3 actually do make sense.

They might have been opened St. Pats, today was the "official opening" and ribbon cutting.

Stopped in to World of Beer last night. The place looks great, highlighted by the clean cut look and band stage above/behind the bar. The prices are competitive, especially considering there isn't the high profit margin of liquor to help pay rent. Great beer concept, excellent atmosphere, and they work the surrounding business' foods into their line up (so I am not sure if they can be considered part of Jim's Chow Line, I think they found a gray area).
