I'm sure it is easier to say that what your son is doing is right than admit that he needs help.

Needs help with what exactly? Furthermore, I don't understand how you are interpreting Portman's son's situation as a case of adultery.

Personally, I admire the Portman for having the courage to support his son and make public his change in position on the subject of same sex marriage.
