This may be just the thing to get your Block Club or street moving after our long winter. Consider picking a park or even your street as an area to spruce up. Empty houses and general debris that has accumulated on the block over the winter are good targets. I am open to an invitation to join you in your efforts.

Hello Earth friendly, green-minded volunteers!

You are receiving this email because you or your group has participated in Keep Lakewood Beautiful's annual Clean-up in Lakewood. Thank you for your help in the past!
This year the event is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, from 9 - 12.

We will need you to register your group with us, - We may again need to plan to have someone pick up supplies at the Women's Pavilion from 5:30 - 7:00 pm on Friday, April 19 -as we have had years when we are unable to easily pick up supplies on Saturday due to charity races on Lake Avenue on Saturday mornings.

After your clean up, please return all loaned supplies and enjoy a free lunch at the Women's Pavilion at Lakewood Park. Also enjoy Earth Day activites that will be provided at the Pavilion until 2:00 pm.

We will provide you with
1.garbage bags, recycling bags and yard waste bags
2.gloves
3.pick up tongs
4. lunch when you are done beginning at 11:45

I will need to know
1. Name of your organization and numberof volunteers
2. Public area in Lakewood you are inerested in cleaning or we can suggest a place for you.
3. Number of participants who will return for lunch
4. After your clean up is completed, i will also need to know how many bags of garbage you collected.
