Shaughnessy And Favre Announce Campaigns For BOE

Last night at the Lakewood Board of Education meeting Mrs. Betsy Bergen Shaughnessy,
and now School Board President Edward Favre announced they would seek reelection.
Mrs Shaughnessy whose background is in health care will be seeking her sixth term in office,
which saw her as the Board President in 1996, 2001, 2006, 2010 and 2012.
Retired Police Sargent Edward Favre will be seeking his fifth term and was School Board
President in 2000, 2005, 2009 and this year 2013.
Both candidates have children that have graduated through the Lakewood School System.
